Lauded by critics but questioned by audiences, this second installment in the new Star Wars trilogy, directed by Rian Johnson, makes some interesting calls that have somewhat divided die hard Star Wars fans. But whatever you feel about its thematic choices, it tries something new, unlike its predecessor The Force Awakens. Plus, its abundance of lightsabers and epic space battles make this another exciting entry to the saga. And Luke has lines, so that’s a bonus.
