The term, “The State of the Union”, was first coined by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and later became the official title under President Harry S. Truman. Who would know so many decades later that the State of the Union might occur during a government shutdown over funding for a wall meant to keep out Mexicans. But here we are. If you are bothering to watch this year, we offer this drinking game in the hope it will bring you comfort during this dark and absurd time in history.
