Our 2019 Golden Globes drinking game is here to help you through the 3+ hour spectacle. With Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh as hosts, we’re betting on plenty of feel-good humour and witty banter… in other words, don’t count on hearing the name ‘Trump’. You’ll be able to drink and laugh along with the celebrities, as they are actually served alcohol at the Globes, unlike the stuffy Academy Awards. And they’ll need it, as The Golden Globes are arguably the most openly corrupt of television and movie award shows. Example: Bohemian Rhapsody, only scoring a 49 on Metacritic, has still managed to be nominated for Best Motion Picture Drama – despite being a musical. Whether the movies, shows, and performers deserve to win or not, at least we can count on plenty of montages.
