This classic heist movie with this giant ensemble cast of A-listers made a smash at the box office when it was released in 2001 – a good thing too, considering many of them had to take significant pay cuts. George Clooney plays Danny Ocean, who sets up a ragtag group of the best con artists and thieves around so that they can rob three casinos in Las Vegas simultaneously. It’s a light-hearted, family-friendly movie that never takes itself too seriously and was apparently a lot of fun for the cast to make, with Don Cheadle even saying that he was embarrassed to be paid for it.
